BIRON
Biron Kimathi is a 21-year-old young man who successfully completed his secondary school education last year. He performed well and attained a mean grade of C, which qualifies him to pursue a diploma course at a tertiary institution. Biron is hardworking, obedient, and respectful to both elders and his peers.
Biron’s father lost his job and later sank into alcoholism, and left Biron’s mother with the heavy responsibility of raising their seven children on her own. With no stable income and only irregular casual jobs, she struggled to provide for the family. As a result, Biron and his younger siblings were often out of school due to lack of fees, as priority was given to their older siblings in high school and college. Life was extremely difficult, and the family frequently went to bed hungry. They also lived in a small house that was in poor condition and could not comfortably accommodate the whole family.
CLCL identified Biron as a vulnerable but bright student in 2018. CLCL provided him with sponsorship, providing some stability. Since then, CLCL also stepped in to support his mother in raising him and his siblings. Additionally, a relative helped by building a better house for the family, providing them with a safer and more comfortable living environment.
Unfortunately, Biron lost his sponsor due to unavoidable circumstances. As a result, CLCL is unable to fully support his education as he prepares to join a tertiary institution, where costs are significantly higher. Biron still holds on to his dream of pursuing a business-related course, but he needs financial support to cover his school fees and other essential needs.
By Sponsoring Biron, you can help him continue his transformative journey and pursue an education that will help him build a bright future.
