JUSTER
Juster is an 18-year-old, determined young girl, who has not let her hearing impairment hindered her drive to succeed. Juster was not born deaf; however, at just six months, she developed medical complications that led to hearing loss. Within her first year, she underwent several ear surgeries. Despite her parents’ relentless efforts to restore her hearing, these attempts were unsuccessful, her hearing could not be restored. These medical challenges placed a significant financial burden on the family. Juster and her sibling were on the verge of dropping out of school.
Juster caught the attention of CLCL during a visit in a special class. Despite her irregular attendance at school due to the family’s financial struggles, she remained determined and hardworking in her studies. CLCL got her sponsored and Juster has been enjoying quality education in a school for the hearing impaired.
Sadly, in 2025 Juster’s sponsor of 9 years died. This loss has deeply affected both Juster and her family. Since then, CLCL has continued to support her, enabling her to successfully transition to senior school.
To ensure that Juster continues her studies, she needs a sponsor who can get her over the finish line to complete her studies and give her the chance at a bright future.
